Nestled in the heart of Kilndown village on the Kent and East Sussex border we are a small, friendly community pre-school for children between 2 and 5 years old. We have first-rate, highly experienced staff and excellent adult to child ratios. We pride ourselves on a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of attention to each individual child.

Based in Kilndown Village hall, we serve the surrounding Kent and East Sussex villages. Including Goudhurst, Lamberhurst, Cranbrook, Brenchley, Flimwell and Wadhurst with easy access from the A21.

First class environment & facilities

The care and safety of each child are paramount. We provide a happy, stimulating, inclusive environment in an excellent brand new facility. Our equipment is of a high standard and, following a recent large grant, we can even boast an impressive range of up to date equipment including computers.

The Village Hall has recently been rebuilt and is a modern, light and airy space with plenty of room to play. To the side of the hall is a large village green which incorporates an area of hard standing where the children can play safely with outdoor equipment and ‘wheelie’ toys. We also have fenced off area that we aim to develop into a child friendly garden. Footpaths lead from the green into Kilndown Woods and the National Trust Scotney Castle – ideal for our nature walks!

With excellent links to Goudhurst and Lamberhurst Primary Schools, we regularly receive favourable Ofsted reports.
